This site takes you to the National Weather Service website, which is a component of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This site is very useful because it provides detailed information on weather, water, and climate data. I like to use this site for my daily weather blog because it provides detailed information throughout the day and night.

This website is provided by UWEC, the school which I attend. I really like this website because it is a fast and easy way to check out local current conditions. By looking at this website I will always know what the weather will be like while I'm at school. It also provides historical information in graph form which will assist me in being able to make connections between real life situations of weather and relate them to the graph patterns.

This website is provided by intellicast. My absolute favorite feature about this website is that when you select a map to look at, there is a description of the maps features. This is a great tool for somebody who isn't familiar with weather and it's terminology. Or, somebody who is a beginner at understanding a grasping the concepts of weather and meteorology.
Other links that I really like from the site include:

I also like to look at the water vapor maps at this site. This provides visual information on where moisture is in the atmosphere. It's useful in understand how pressure cells and wind patterns have an effect on regional weather conditions.

I really like this site because I watch this news station every morning while getting ready for school. I feel like I get good, local weather here and the weather knows what he is talking about. I like the way he has a paragraph or two explaining what the weather patterns are and why they are taking place. It's help me make connections to weather and learn along the way.

This site is awesome! It's more of a visual tool. But again, it helps make connections between the pressure cells, jet stream and water vapor. In general, how everything is working together.
